CVM started with a passion to create a welcoming and inclusive space for all individuals seeking spiritual growth and community connection. Our commitment to sharing the teachings of love, compassion, and service has fueled our success in providing meaningful ministries to the Frederick, Maryland area. We believe that through our ministries, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve and create a stronger, more connected community.

Praise & Worship Team

The primary purpose of the Christ Vision Ministries Church Praise and Worship ministry is to give glory, honor, and praise to God; and instill music in the house of God.  Scripture says in Colossians 3:17, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”  Members involved in this ministry are given many avenues to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His body, the church.

MIGHTY MEN

How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity” (Psalms 133:1).  ‘

It is the goal of the Men’s Ministry to provide opportunities for fellowship and service for men of all ages.  Our meetings are informal, informational, and there is something available for all men, regardless of the amount of church experience (great or small). Men are given the opportunity to serve God, serve one another, serve the Church, and moreover, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our gathering of men gives us an opportunity to delve deeper on matters affecting men personally, their families, and communities. It is a time of fellowship, challenge in the Word of God, and breaking off into small groups that facilitate the discipleship process at a deeper and more intimate level.

Additionally, men are galvanized to participate in a community outreach project through the church’s social outreach program – “The Turn•Around Agenda.”  Held on a Saturday, this agenda includes:

• Light breakfast;
• Fellowship time;
• A biblical challenge in the Word by Daddy CO or a guest speaker;
• Small group breakout discussions, and family meetings; and
• A selected community service/outreach project.

“Fruit Bearers” Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry’s vision is rooted in the commandment that Jesus gives us in Matthew 22 – “Love God, Love others.”  All that we do and the programs we plan are sifted through these two requirements. Will your involvement in something within our “Fruit Bearers” Women’s Ministry lead to transformation, obedience, and action? That is our goal.

We are all on the same path to follow Christ; to know His word; and to serve Him with our lives through the fruit of the Spirit. And we know that we are not meant to be alone on this narrow road —as community is an essential ingredient to an authentic relationship with Jesus.

Rising Stars” Youth Ministry

CVM’s Youth and Young Adults Ministry empowers the youth, ages 13-26 to reach out to their peers with the grace and love of Jesus Christ.  As these individuals grow in their Christian faith, CVM’s Youth and Young adults Ministry creates an enabling environment inspired by the Holy Spirit to equip them to faithfully serve and lead others in the area of their influence.

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” (Psalm 127:3) With these blessings also come responsibilities.

CVM provides an environment in which children are safe; are taught at an age-appropriate level; and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through a children’s ministry program.
